Demolition of two existing residential and commercial buildings on the village square in Gattikon and construction of two Minergie-certified replacement residential buildings. One building was designed for upmarket rental housing, the other as a community living concept with small apartments, a furnished common room with catering kitchen and a fully equipped guest room. The new buildings were built right next to the occupied existing buildings with shops and medical practices and directly connected to the existing tenant garage and public underground car park. Access to the underground car parks was maintained without interruption throughout construction.
